Q. I've been looking for a soccer goal for a long time. Why is a rebounding goal better than a regular goal?
A. That's an easy one. It makes practice fun. Kids will stick with it, and you'll see their skills and confidence improve. The player can practice trapping the ball when it returns, or he or she can kick it again back into the net. For one or more players, the patented KICKBACK® is the first rebounding goal designed just for soccer.

Q. It looks as if the KICKBACK® could be knocked over very easily. What makes it stand up so well?
A. The patented Secret Stake® system. There is a 20" hidden stake inside of each upright that is driven half way into the ground. These secret stakes keep the goal in position and upright on very hard kicks. Three pros have struck the top span at the same time and were not able to knock the goal over. The KICKBACK® has never been knocked over by a soccer ball or balls.

Q. I want a goal for my backyard, which one do you recommend for a youth player?
A. The most popular of the KICKBACK® models is the Select. It offers a large target at a good value (7'×15'-$289). The smaller Starter model is specifically designed for small backyards and players 6 years old & younger. As youth players grow and develop leg strength, they need a larger target they can't miss. The Starter at 5˝'×9' is a very small target. KICKBACK®.

Q. What is included in a travel kit? What is it supposed to do?
A. A long, zippered canvas bag, a releasable cable tie and a small drawstring bag (to keep the net from tangling). The travel kit will help keep your setup time to a minimum. (The record is 3˝ minutes.) If you set up and take down the goal frequently, it will be very useful.

Q.  What makes the ball bounce back?
A.   KICKBACK® has an adjustable, flexible frame.  When a ball strikes the net, the frame flexes then springs back to shape; the spring action combined with the natural elasticity of the net returns the ball to the player.  This is far superior to other designs that use rubber bands or bungee cords.  In a few years, the sun's ultra-violet rays will rot the rubber in these systems.  The KICKBACK's® flexible frame return design not only outlasts common rubber systems, it also provides adjustable rebounding levels so players can customize their workouts.

Q. The KICKBACK® rebounding goals are adjustable. How and why?
A. You can change the net tension by adjusting the size of the frame. The sections snap together and telescope horizontally and vertically. (see features) The tighter the net tension, the greater the rebounding action. (Close practice requires less rebounding action than longer shots.) You can also alter the rebounding angle by changing the net attachment locations. This allows more flexibility in practice drills.

Q. How long does it take to put a KICKBACK® together, what tools are needed?
A. Probably 30-40 minutes the first time as the net needs to be unfolded and rings attached. Putting it together the second time will take 5 to 10 minutes, less after that. The record is 3˝ minutes. Included are detailed, step-by-step illustrations of the KICKBACK's® simple, snap together design. A hammer is needed to drive the stakes into the ground. No other tools or special skills are necessary.

Q. Is the KICKBACK® the "official" size?
A. The KICKBACK® Select is about the size of a double wide garage door and is terrific for practice. It's large enough so a player can kick as hard as he or she can and not worry about missing the goal. (As you know, chasing the ball isn't too much fun.)

The KICKBACK® is similar in size to most goals used by youth leagues in ages 6–10. Depending on your club, at around 11 years old the leagues begin to use the official goal size of 8'×24'. That is much too big for most backyards and most coaches recommend shooting at a smaller target like the KICKBACK®

Q. How durable are KICKBACKs®?
A. All KICKBACK® goals have galvanized steel frames and may be left up year round. Earlier models have been in use since 1989 and show no signs of weakening. The nets should last at least 3-5 years.

Q. What comes with a KICKBACK®?
A. Recommended workouts suitable for all player levels (beginner through advanced) and step-by-step illustrated assembly instructions are included with each goal.

Q. What do KICKBACKs® cost?
A. The available models are as follows: (model / h×w / price + shipping) Starter 5˝'×9' $225 + $22; Select 7'×15' $289 + $22

MODEL MAXIMUM HEIGHT MAXIMUM WIDTH LONGEST TUBE PRICE SHIPPING COST
